Like most online cultures, Twitter users sometimes talk to each other in their own language. To a new user this could seem a bit confusing or foolish. Here are a few of the more popular terms that'll help make sense of the twitterspeak you may encounter. Before you know it your exacto tweets will be twittering out into the twitterverse to all your fine tweeple!

Followership
The collective group of Twitter users following a given Twitterer.
Followorthy
A Twitter user who is worthy of being followed.
Friendscraping
The act of friending all of a friend's friends, either manually or via a bot. Example: "Dude, I found her by friendsccraping."
Switch twitter
Person maintaining multiple Twitter accounts
Twatter
Twitter chatter
Twedia
Media on Twitter (e.g. @nytimes, @bbcnews, etc.)
Tweet
A single message seen on Twitter
Tweetback
A backlink tweet for a blog article
Tweet Vine
Means the grape vine
Tweetspeak
"an effect of compulsive posting of tweets, causes excessive compression of thoughts to fit 140 characters"
Tweetup
Twitter + meetup: a gathering of folks based on a twitter conversation (often impromptu)
Tweeple
Twitter + people
Twinsight
A new insight realized via Twitter.
Twip
A tip about using twitter (Or a tip given on twitter)
Twitscape
A shorter, easier to text form of reference to the Twittervers.
Twitterers
A group of people whom have Twitter accounts.
Twittle
A small amount of followers on Twitter
Twoot
A hashtag that has hit 1,000+ tweets.
Hashtag
A # sign followed by a word ( example: #Obama) which allows others tweeting about the subject to find each others tweets, even though they may not be each others followers.
